My regular readers (both) might remember Leila’s story. If you don’t, you should read the introduction post to her character here: Leila—A Journey Into The Past.
After about half a year dormant, I continued my travels on the grid.
I will keep traveling using those landmarks the previous account owner left in the inventory. Those will be my starting points, including but not limited to:
- Firestorm Social Island
- The Mirage Motel 66
- Dusk Point Beach
- Romance in the Cloud
- Muddy’s Music Club
- Sirens Beach
Those have been Leila’s favorite places in her previous Second Life (apart from hundreds of shops).
I will meet people there, check out their profiles for more places to see, and use their picks as a guide or compass to other interesting regions or places.
However, I will aggravate the rules to make it more interesting.
I call it the Never Say Never Challenge or the Leila-Never-Says-No-Challenge, whatever comes her way.
The Challenge lasts 30 days as of today.
This blog will have a separate category, where you may follow the challenges and Leila’s travels and adventures.
- If somebody recommends a place to me, I will visit the place.
- If somebody sends a teleport, I will follow the invitation.
- If somebody sends a friend request, I will accept it
- If somebody offers a job – I sign up.
- If somebody wants sex – I spread my legs.
The only exceptions where I can and will say NO (and no means no) are things related to real life that could potentially kill my immersion into Second Life.
- No real-life data,
- No real-life pics (both ways),
- No cam, no voice,
- No money from Leila.
Regarding money, Leila will not be sponsored by Takeda Media (or any of my other characters). She must make ends on her own if need be.
As you might know from a prior post, she has gotten a job offer as a porn model. That should potentially cover her expenses.
Of course, there might be situations (other than the above) where I am tempted to say no. I need some penalty if I do so. Otherwise, where is the challenge part?
My first thought was that if I refuse a proposal, for whatever reason, I must donate a certain amount to a charity (or similar organization) with an in-world presence.
Why would I refuse somebody? For example, if a guy wants sex and he is just too fucking ugly or creepy. I might do him anyway because of the challenge, but maybe not – you will see.
If I refuse a proposal, the challenge begins again for another 30 days from that day on
Does anyone have a better idea? Please let me know in the comments.
Caroline
