Update | Candy’s Second Job in Second Life

These things just happen to me. I don’t look for them, they just come to me. This time a job for several thousand L$.

No. Still no sex work.

I was hanging around the Bar No.5 where I work as a waitress. It was one of those rather boring days. No guest, just waiting for things to happen.

I saw my friend L. He who shall not be named, because he has a girlfriend and I fuck with him, occasionally (no, he does not pay me for that).

I called him up, wondering what he was doing. Not much he was probably as bored as I was at his Premium Linden home.

That I found interesting. I didn’t know he had a Linden Home actually.

He explained:

“I have one of those, but they are pretty dull and all I have teher is a bed and some boxes from unboxing stuff I bought. It is actually that boring, that I feel embarrassed to even bring a date.”

I asked him what type of Linden Home he has got. It was one of the older ones. I have to admit, they are not state of the art to say the least.

“Hey, why don’t you get one of those country homes on the Bellissaria continent? They are much nicer, you get a bigger land and twice as many prims.”

He didn’t know what Bellissaria was. In fact he didn’t even know what a prim was.

I explained:

What you need to do first is, go to your land, right click on the ground and choose abandon land.

He followed my instructions

“Now I am homeless too, just like you”, he said.
I laughed and answered: “Wanna share my bridge with me?”

I continued:

“ Now you have to click on this link:
https://secondlife.com/land/lindenhomes/member.php.Makes sure you are logged into the site with your Second Life credentials.”

“Here you can choose different styles of Linden Premium Homes. However the homes on Bellissaria are very much in demand. Don’t rush your choice, if you can not see those country houses available, wait a few days and try again.”

He was lucky. There was one available.
“You are the best, Candy. Thank you so much.”

He TPed me over to see what he had gotten. As there was nobody at the bar anyway, I followed the invitation.

“I have a problem Candy. I have no idea how to decorate the house and where to get furniture. Also I have no style, I am so bad at designing anything, no matter what.”

I have to agree. His avatar doesn’t exactly look state of the art either (not yet, I will take care of that later).

He asked me: “What about you became my personal interior designer? I would pay you for that.

I thought why not. It’s fun to decorate, I do have talent for that and I don’t mind making some money either.

We agreed on a budget. 15.000 L$. Including a commission for me.

I told him:

“ There are two ways to do this. I buy the furniture on your behalf. The boxes will be in your inventory. You will have to unbox them and assign me rights to move them and then…”

“Oh, wow wait, way too much trouble, what is the second option?”

“I buy the stuff, you create a group, invite me to the group and I do it all for you.”

“That’s better. He passed me the 15k.”

He didn’t seem to care who actually owns the furniture. He just wanted a pretty home and no hassle.

Great.

Time to go shopping.

Again.

Update:

I went shopping.

I had chosen my favorite interior design shop. I bought furniture for the kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and a studio in the attic of his house.

It took me a bit of work to get it right, but the end result is a really fancy and cosy home at the same time.

Luxury Linden Home on Bellissaria

I decided the attic will be my little refugium. I am no longer a homeless teenager, instead I live now in a fancy studio on the Bellissaria continent and don’t even have to pay rent.

Well….

I guess as long as I keep the owner happy.

I think I could actually turn this into a business. I am sure there are many guys like L. who would love a nice home, but lack the skills to decorate their place.

Maybe they are just waiting for someone like me, who comes around and takes away all the hassle of finding the right furniture, unpack it, rez it, move it around until it fits and looks nice.

I could do that for them and charge a little extra commission.

A few days later we met our new home. We sat down on the coffee table in the lounge

He was really impressed and I discussed some details with him.

I said:

“I hope you like your new home on Bellissaria?”

“It is amazing and don’t forget I didn’t have anything like that before.”

“Does the furniture have sex aniamtions?” He enquired.

“Not this chairs or table, but don’t worry, I made sure you can have sex in each and every room of the house. There are also many animations of different nature. For example there are a lot of cooking related animations in the kitchen. Want to see some?”

“Yes sure.”

We went to the kitchen. I showed him some really amazing kitchen animations. Ideal for some role play for example or just for taking some nice photos.

I sat on one of the kitchen desks, drinking coffee. I had my training suit on. Actually one of my favorite 1 L$-Outfits. It looks very comfy and sexy.
