Candy’s First Job In Second Life | Bartender at Bar No. 5

This was an easy one. I simply walked into the place and asked if I may attend the bar. Done and dusted. Fiver, the owner of the bar even created a new group tag for me: Bartender.

What do I do there?

Very simple. I stand behind the bar, clean glasses, sell beer bottles and entertain the guests in open chat. Very similar to a RL bartender, just without real drinks.

To make some money I rely on two things:

Tips
Recycling bottles

The second is a funny idea of Fiver. As she is not allowed to put tip jars (rules of the region), she invented this recycling system.

People can buy beer bottles by clicking on the fridge in the bar. They add the bottle to the hand and simulated beer drinking. Very cute.

When they leave the bar, I ask them to pass me the bottle (no copy) for me to recycle it. I go outside the bar where Fiver places a recycling can. I rez the bottle on the can and get 25 L$ for each bottle.

Really creative tip system.

I know I will not get rich with tips and recycling. But remember, my mission is to survive on a low budget!

Until now It actually works quite fine. I do get bottles and tips almost every time I am behind the bar. On top of it it’s fun.

Here comes the spicy part.
You did expect one didn’t you?

The bar is located in a region called “street whores”. You might have read about this destination before. It is a very rough urban red light district.

The majority of my guests are actually sex workers on street whores. In addition, some of the whores actually work at the bar as whores, also using a very funny method of making money.

Sometimes we get very unusual guest. Such as this priest here:

No. I do not. I am just the bartender. No sex work for Candy.

They have one of those gacha machines.

In case you don’t know what that is: Gacha slot machines are a quite popular game in Second Life. You pay the machine and you get one random item out of it. Typically something the designer doesn’t sell that well plus one or two items which are desirable.

In Fivers’s gacha machine the best item you can get is a voucher for a blow job. There are three different girls working at bar Nr. 5 who redeem the vouchers.

The income from people playing the machine gets divided between Fiver and the three girls. The girls kinda rotate. Which means she hires new girls for the gacha machine from time to time.

Of course, once the client gets what he did win at the machine (the blowjob I am talking about), he typically upgrades to the full service. Once they are horny enough they easy to sell.

Very creative I think. Fiver’s creativity also shows in the bar itself. It is very nicely designed with a love of details.

Fiver herself is a sex worker herself and a very pretty asian girl.
