Leila | Moving to Woodland City and Getting a Job (Not Sex Work)

Woodland City in Second Life

My landlord kicked me out of my home.  Do you remember? I got this parcel for free against sex with the landlord.

Candy also lost her apartment on the squatted parcel, but more about that further down the post.

The reason why he kicked me out without notice, without explanation is simple to divine: I didn’t fuck with him sufficiently.

After I moved in, I only had sex with him once. That wasn’t even good sex. I was bored to death. His outdated, downright ugly avatar didn’t help to make the experience a sexy one.

Despite this, I was still prepared to spread my legs for him to use me upon demand, but I guess his expectations were different.

Homeless again. Back to Motel-Living. That wasn’t so bad after all. I decided to continue my exploration of the inherited inventory, especially those landmarks.

I TPed to a place named “grumblsl”. The name intrigued me, I was curious what that could be.

I landed in a garden of a private home. Apparently, the original place was gone. Somebody did build a residential area in the same place.

It was called “Woodland – Family Roleplay Community”.

Quickly I walked out of that private parcel and walked along the street. The region did look like a typical mid-class residential area in the USA. Think of “Desperate Housewives” and you are not far off.

Walking down the street, I realized it is a very big place, perfectly laid out, and lots of very pretty and spacious houses. I counted 13 regions.

(It costs nearly 4000 USD to maintain that many regions)

I arrived at a small pub. By the looks of it an Irish pub. The name actually gives it away: “Murphy’s Law”.

“Hello, Leila, come in have a dring with us”. Somebody called from inside.

Alexia and Isis, the two girls I was drinking with in the Irish pub, explained what this was all about. I ended up in the upper-class area of a rather big roleplay city.

“You could have a job here and a house, you could be police like me, a lawyer, firemen or simply working here in the bar.”

Did I mention I take what comes my way?

“What about a store, I said spontaneously.”

Yes, I could have a store as well. There are several available. All I need to do is go to the town hall and apply for a business license.

Yes, they have that all set up.

“You could have a house just here near the pub, there is one available for only 1000 L$ per week for 500 prims and those are hard to get.”

(2 L$ per prim is not really cheap, but this comes with the house and a very entertaining theme)

“I need to make sure I get that store. If I can’t sell anything but have to pay rent for a house, I am going to be broke again soon.”

They took me to the town hall to start the paperwork for a business license. That was an easy-to-fill-in online form. Was done in a few minutes.

I was checking my account. I had more than 4000 L$ still on there. I earned those helping out at Candy’s All-Inclusive Sex Hotel a few times (different story, don’t ask).

I know, that is not much, but hey no risk no fun. Hence I decided to rent that little house near the Irish pub for 1000 L$ per week. Alexia the helpful police officer paid me for one week.

Leila’s New Home

What now? I have no furniture at all.

I had an idea. What If I move in together with Candy, she has got lots of furniture as she used to work as an interior designer (before she became a sex worker).

Very good timing actually.

Candy got caught on her squatted land and got kicked out as well. She can still use Larry’s place, but we haven’t seen Larry for more than 6 months. She might lose that place as well.

Said and done! We moved in together and Candy started to decorate the place straight away.

I am the official license holder and store manager.  In return, the company will pay the rent of the house and the store (Candy gets the commission on the sales).

Candy also has a car, which would make it a lot easier to move around in town. She has got that parked now at the public parking place close to our new home. and I got a set of keys.

Now I need to go down to the town hall again and apply for a driving license.

There are still some houses available in Woodland. Want to become our neighbor? Contact me inworld and we drive around town (User name: msleila).
