Ebbe Altberg CEO of Linden Lab passed away last night surrounded by his family after a long fight with an illness.

My thoughts are with his family and all the Lindens. This really did shock me as he was about my age.

I have never met the man. I do know though that he was a well-respected leader and friend and turned Second Life into what it is today. 

Whoever will take over his responsibility will have a hard time being a match for Ebbe Altberg.
