The minute I walked into The Refuge I loved it. The place is a mix between music club, bar, and strip club.
It features right in its center the latest Bar No. 5. I decided to work some shifts there on weekends.
If you are inclined to meet me, this is the place where you most likely will find me nowadays.
But let’s step back a little. How did I end up at The Refuge?
My own place called “Candy’s All-Inclusive Sex Hotel” is not doing very well at the moment. The reason is, that I simply don’t have the time anymore to do what is necessary to get the place busy.
The result was, that the girls went to work elsewhere, where they got more clients and where to get paid for their time, rather than relying on tips only.
The most active ones work now either at Jess’s bar or at Hooker Hotel. Our best guests followed them to the new places. Me and Sternchen are probably the only ones left to serve the hotel guests.
That means quit a lot of fucking for us.
At the same time, I became aware of Fiver’s expansion of Bar No.5. She opened a new one in the region “Hooker Hotel“, a similar place to “Street Whores” where Fiver still has her first Bar No.5.
Both regions are basically red-light districts where whores offer their services. The girls typically stand on the street waiting for clients to take them up to a room in the nearby hotel (hence the name).
Instead of waiting for guests at the hotel bar of Candy’s, I took the initiative and started taking some shifts at the newly opened Bar No.5 at Hooker Hotel.
It didn’t take long for the bar to become yet again a popular hangout for whores and their clients.
You can make some decent tips working as a waitress behind the bar, even without having to spread your legs. A bit of chatting, teasing and dancing does the trick.
Having said that, I did get fucked there a few times.
This is where I met the owner of The Refuge: Sajushi.
I was working my shift behind the bar and we got to chat. I realized the guy must be well off, he did buy all the girls rounds of beers and whisky.
That’s how the tipping system works at Bar No. 5. Guests buy a chosen number of beers and the girls recycle the bottles later against cash.
At one point he said:
“Candy, my club is not on your list of the best sex locations in Second Life.”
“I am not sure if it qualifies, I see it doesn’t really have a lot of traffic,” I responded.
Then he did make an interesting suggestion:
“I have one store which is not rented out yet. What If I give you that store for free and you write something nice about the Refuge?”
Good Idea. But of course, I wanted to see the place first to see if it qualifies for “the list”.
It did. Very much so.
Now I own a store in the region, right next to the club and I even decided to give it a go working there as a waitress behind the bar.
On the other side of the club, there is a small but pretty motel. Very convenient, in case a guest wants to hire me for sex.
Little gossip for you: I think he sleeps with Fiver.
Want to meet me there for a chat or some sexy fun? Meet me at the bar and let’s take a room in the motel next door.
As you are there anyway, have a look at my little furniture store. I am selling high-quality beds, sofas, and many other items from Debauchery. You can test a bed and a sofa in the store to get a feel for the animations.
Call me if you need assistance.

The Refuge has a different owner than the other no 5 bars. Saju is cool. The other bars are owned by the same owner who apparently is totally okay with it that people call her \”boss\” even though nobody works for her, that those people pretend to work in the bar, though they don\’t, they are just hookers hanging out there, that those hookers insult people that come in, and even insult customer that stand up for those that get bullied, doing so protect the bars good name and atmosphere. But thát owner thinks that is a problem for those customers…. not for her bar. At least, she does not want to do anything about that. So yes, DO visit THE REFUGE, but avoid the others if you expect to receive ANY customer service.
